These people just want to think they're a part of something 'good' without actually, you know, being a part of something. So they click like, they retweet, they get all riled up. But they don't actually do anything.

Sometimes good comes from it. Maybe this time it will. But their track record is pretty poor.

The media eats up and uses it to direct ratings and clicks their way. So it spirals out of control.

We'll see. The NFL cover up story exposed by ESPN is quite damning... I think there's probably a few people that should lose their jobs based on that report. So on one hand I kind of applaud the righteous I so loathe, on the other I can't help but laugh that they've ignored so many domestic violence issues in the past and even in this case it took an actual video to get outraged (the level of outrage was nothing compared to this when the story broke.) In some twisted irony most of the righteous are guilty of the exact same thing they accuse Goodell and the Ravens of - Not giving enough of a shit and needing a video of the actual punch to understand how awful domestic violence is.

Goodell and the Ravens have already admitted their mistake in that regard. The Righteous never will...
Out of curiosity, what have you done to help abused women?

nothing.

but i'm not one of the ones acting out on this other than saying rice should be out of the league indefinitely. i also am not one of the one that waited until an actual video came out to decide that domestic violence is an awful thing. i also am aware of the long history of domestic violence with nfl players and in no way surprised by the rice incident other than I thought rice was a better person than that.

you?

do the righteous think what they're doing is helping abused women?

janay is still with rice, and now his football future is down the drain, even if his wins his appeal he may have a hard time finding a job. has she been helped by all of this?
