The criticism of Cousins is about what I expected from the diehard RGIII fans, they want Cousins to fail.
Question: were you as tough on RGIII after he took a dump on the field in the first half of the Texans game. RGIII's offense put up six points in the entire game against a team that had lost 14 games in a row. Did he have us in position to win that one going down the stretch?

of course not. the playbook for RG3 is so watered down and limited to dump downs and 1 look reads. with that said, RG3 will get better and will grow into a better all round passer and manager.

What a load of crap. Of course, I don't want Cousins to fail. I'm not even a diehard RG3 fan.

It will all play out. Giants next. It's funny, I always thought it was about winning not stats. I guess Kirk Cousins is a special case. If the game is on the line and it's 4th and 10 I'm choosing RG3 to get those 10 yards. He would sacrifice his body and make sure we win.

cousins answered some questions yesterday, one being he can run the gruden offense.

Can he win the big game, that is yet to be answered. +

Im worried about the Alfmo injury more than any other injury on the team. Really hoping he is alright and can go thursday.

I'm worried about DHall. Redd and Helu are good runners. Breeland aka tree land aka (auto complete) brew land. He ain't scared to tackled like Ramhoe.

There a lot to be optimistic about.

I love what I've seen from Breeland so far. Now if we could get some young, promising safeties in there.

I just don't get the black-or-white world you live in.

RGIII is one of our QB's. I support and cheer for him and, when deserved, criticize him. Because he is one of our QB's, I never root for him to fail.

Cousins is one of our QB's. I support and cheer for him and, when deserved, criticize him. Because he is one of our QB's, I never root for him to fail.

I know that I am not the only one who feels this way.

Nope. I'm with you on this. I love both of these guys and I'd hate to see either one of them go, and hoping if such happens, it's because one or the other (or someone else) has firmly proven himself to be the franchise quarterback for the Washington Redskins.

You are preaching to the choir. I am not a Cousins or RGIII fan, I am a Redskins fan first.
What makes me look like a die hard Cousins fan and anti-RGIII is the criticism Cousins is getting after playing a game that a Redskins QB has not had in years. That is all. While I think cousins had a good game, not perfect, I am surprised some are blaming Cousins and call that performance less than mediocre.
While everyone is entitled to their opinions. some of the opinions of blaming Cousins I thought was a little crazy and heav handed.
I have never claimed Cousins or RGIII is a sure thing. We do not know if either will be franchise worthy.
I will say this: I was losing my patience with the post 2nd ACL injury version of RGIII> Although I never ever voiced it on this site. RGIII was not the same guy as the pre-ACL injury.
All I wanted is to give Cousins a chance to see what he has. That is all and I will defend a good performance of any player.
I did however voice my opinion of frustration with RGIII' s inconsistent play after RGIII dislocated his ankle.
I also feel strongly that RGIII has to earn his starting spot, not just give to him when he can play. Every position on the field should be earned.
