Nothing fickle about it. Philly was missing quite a bit from the OL. There was no excuse as to why we couldn't get the same type of result from the Philly game. At least 1 or 2 sacks with a banged up line. Nobody said the coaches/players were clueless, but the job didn't get done. So it's either one or the other. That's not the mark of a good defense.

In the 2nd half, coming out of the half Philly had:

7 play 60 yd, ending in FG
9 play 48 yd ending in FG
5 play 17 yd ending in Punt
5 play 26 yd ending in Punt
8 play 76 yd ending in TD
4 play 2 yd(critical stop after INT) ending in FG
3 play -10 yd ending in Punt

The first half they had drives of 48, 80, and 64 that resulted in a Fumble and 2 TDs.

I would say that they adjusted pretty good. Sure, Rather not give up early Touchdowns but you can't say they didn't adjust, just because sack numbers didn't go up. Even on the TD drive in the 4th, it was stopped on 3rd and 5 but the interference penalty gave them the first, and then an exceptional catch by Maclin on the next 3rd and 8.
