Where's LaVar

The Redskins are just sticking to their word and being careful about how much playing time LaVar gets early on. After last year's reinjury problems, they want to make sure that knee is 100% solid before they put him back on the pre-injury workload.

It also looks like LaVar is still a little tentative in Williams' scheme, so I'm sure that's slowing down the process. Until LaVar has a complete grasp of his assignments, Holdman's going to be in more packages, and Williams is going to tend to favor the Holdman packages over the LaVar packages.

Given the incentives in his new deal-- not to mention LaVar's burning passion to play-- I'm sure he's working his tail off trying to get back to full-speed both physically and mentally.
