pierce i think is better than marshall still, better at positioning people and shedding blocks... the big thing is the difference in money was tiny and i don't like handing a division rival a quality starter like that.

Smoot got paid a lot more and if we kept him, we would have drafted differently... i wasn't mad about him going though. He wasn't good at blitzing and played back a bit farther than GW probably wanted., but he definately had heart.
