If I'm going to throw my conspiracy theory out there, I think if anyone did, Allen did.

But this all seems silly, Griff is the #1, he needs to be starting anyway. I was hoping it wouldn't be until after the bye, but it is what it is. Dude played above average for having only played ONE game all year. So eh, f it.
You think Allen would make that call on his own? Like Shanahan said last year, Snyder doesn't really care what you do at the other positions but he damn well be part of the decision process at QB

That's so Danny boy can make his bags of gold off the jerseys/tickets the QBs sell.

Again, "part of the decision process" is fine. The man writes the checks. Everyone on the team and in the front office is his employee. As long as he is not "Jerry Jonesing" and/or otherwise cutting the legs out from under the coach, I am okay with him saying to Gruden "Look, this is the franchise guy, he starts unless you can tell me a real good reason he doesn't."

If Gruden is saying "No way, no how should we be starting Griffin b/c [whatever reason given]" and Snyder is over riding him that's one thing. I just don't get think Gruden is saying that.

Re: Skins-Vikes Post game good & bad

No doubt RGIII puts more pressure on the oline. One big thing he needs to learn is how to move around IN the pocket, when to step up, when to move laterally. That is going to take experience. It's not always about running.

Another bad: two killer penalties on the last drive. Not sure if that was on us or the refs. Offensive PI? Offsetting penalties on 4th down? Oy.

8-12 yds is what you need for moving the chains, not a random number. I believe, and would be willing to look at the stats, that when teams get the ball around their 30 with 1 - 2 minutes left and timeouts remaining, most teams and great qb's/OC's will start with some intermediate - move the chain - type throws, then once you are around the 50, you can take a shot or two and still get to field goal range.

Re: Skins-Vikes Post game good & bad

My head hurts. Our team is so hit or miss I have no clue what is happening. One drive our secondary looks like hall of famers, the next it looks like garbage. "Communication" issues is a cover up for someone f@cked up. Its time to hold people responsible.

For real though, DJax is a monster.

^Okay, thanks. Well, if that's true, I'm glad RG didn't force anything. I just know Reed usually gets open about 95% of the time...

The Good:
Breeland
Morris
Tom Compton
Edit: ***Desean looked awesome again

The Bad-
Helu - he whiffed badly on at least 2 blocks - barely made contact
The Safeties and constant mix-ups

When you think about this game though, they played tough

Travel back from Dallas on Mon night, short week made even shorter by travelling out to Minny & then having the bus accident on the way.....all things considered, the deck was really stacked against them on this trip.

Hail!

Helu would be a great all around 3rd down back if he could block.
