That's quite an exaggeration

I agree that while the article I linked to above is a bit bombastic, I do tend to believe the old saying "Where's there's smoke, there's fire"

I have heard some of the local broadcasters say that RG3 was given some special treatment from Dan Snyder.

I have also heard the same local broadcasters mention just recently that several of the Redskins players have turned against RG3.

So, while I do agree that the article seems to be over-selling the problems, I do think that they exist.

I'm sure there are times when RG3 and his family received some extra consideration. It's exaggerated in my opinion because a) it's not a regular occurrence b) I'm not there, but I've never heard anyone (even anti RG3 people) say his family abuses any privileges and c) when I was there I used to see other players (back up linemen) get the occasional special treatment for their families as circumstances dictated

There are definitely players that don't like RG3. Many that don't like Cousins either. Did they turn on RG3 or just never like him? That I don't know

SS, Does Jay have support from inside the organization on his handling of RG3? Or is it still split from within?

Any insight much appreciated.

I think he has begrudging support. I don't think Dan is too thrilled with what's going on. Bruce, who I don't think ever was totally sold on RG3, is torn between supporting his head coach and appeasing his boss.

Overall though, I think support for Griffin has waned

It agree that support for RG has waned. The coaches know RG is not part of this team's future and I think the rest of the organization is slowly coming to that conclusion.

2 weeks ago I wouldn't have said it but now I really believe that there's a real chance RG will not be a Redskin by this time next year. He may succeed for another team, although I doubt it, but any success he has as a pocket passing QB wont be here in DC.

RG3 sacrificed his body for the team, what has Colt McCoy done? 1 and a half games. Once Gruden makes the switch it is permanent. Would you risk your livelihood on Colt McCoy? Be honest.

G84, they all sacrifice their bodies for the team.

Thought you wanted the QB with the best record....

Right now, McCoy gives us our best chance of winning. Start Colt, and have RG3....

Its about now not 2012. My guess is Gruden could care less about 2012.
Nothing is permanent. In Colts 1-1/2 games he has more wins than RG-3 has in many many weeks. Im not going to hold it against him that he did not suffer a major injury against Dallas. Lol.

Wins? Wins? Who cares about wins. Its about who suffers the worst injuries. RG-3! RG-3! Come on everybody! RG-3!.....

The rest of the season is not about winning. It is figuring out if RGIII has it or not. So for not.

I think its unfair to the rest of the team, especially those with performance incentives in their contract, to not try to win every game.

You just don't throw a game. Period. IMO.
