Alleged crab leg... Alleged...to funny Police, Florida State hampered Jameis Winston investigation, documents show | FOX Sports. "After learning in December 2013 that charges wouldn’t be filed, FOX Sports examined thousands of pages of documents. Among those findings, it was revealed that when Tallahassee police caught wind that a reporter was looking into the alleged rape, they turned reports in the case over to Florida State administrators. By November of 2013, nearly a year after a woman alleged that Winston raped her and nine months after Tallahassee police shelved the case, the Florida State administrators had those documents." Re: The RG3 Sucks - Knee Jerk Reaction Thread
I've said it for a few months now, but if the Skins end up drafting Winston, which would shock me, then I'd pretty much be done as a fan of the team. I'm not saying I'd jump ship and go all in on another team, I would just barely pay any attention to the NFL. As things are now that might already happen.

Re: The RG3 Sucks - Knee Jerk Reaction Thread
You all know, no matter what happens, short of injury, that RG3 will still start Opening Day 2015, right?
I mean at this point the Skins are married to the guy. I keep seeing posts about bringing in a free agent veteran. Who do you have in mind that will be available? Michael Vick? Mark Sanchez? Christian Ponder? Jake Locker? Want to trade to get Culter? Because I think the Bears might entertain offers. Any of those excite you? Because that is what is available. Want to trade a bunch of picks away and go for Jameis Winston? (BTW, I say this in jest, I doubt this would ever happen, but if it did, I am done with the Skins. That would be a bridge too far.) I doubt Snyder will let RG3 ride the pine and put Colt out there. I doubt Colt would even give them a good chance of winning many games next year. So we will watch sub par QB play the rest of this season and go 0-6 or maybe 1-5 because Dallas sucks in December. Then in the offseason, the coaches and media people will say, "Oh RG3 has got it now, boy. You will really see something from him this year." Then the on the 1st snap of the 1st drive of next season RG3 will take a sack or throw a pick. And we will have been duped again.

They are going to have to exercise his option for 2016 - 18 mill - before the 2015 season begins. So if he is starting opening day next year he will be starting opening day 2016 or we will have the richest back up qb in the history of the game. Im not so sure they extend him at this point, and if they dont there might be some hurt feelings resulting in someone else playing qb next year. |

RG3 has 6 more games to reclaim his starting job. If he doesnt secure it, open QB situation come TC.

The skins should tank the season and playing RG3 is a sure fire way to guarantee a top 5 pick. Let the mother sucker keep playing!

Never been a fan of the Shanahans but I take my hat off to them for designing an offence that made Griffin look good.
He is clearly incapable of running a more conventional offence and I for one would be delighted if he never started or even played in another game for the Redskins.

The RG3 Sucks - Knee Jerk Reaction Thread

Looks healthy to me. No limp. No brace. Not seeing the field has nothing to do with any part of your leg at all as a matter of fact. Last year when he was obviously not physically ready - well shit that was an easy pill to swallow compared to this crap. |

Re: The RG3 Sucks - Knee Jerk Reaction Thread
there's another video analysis of RG on yahoo sports (google greg cosell film review)....that one pic with 5 wide open receivers is a bad head shaker, wtf?...I know I see wide open receivers sometimes also but the regular broadcast sometimes doesn't show the entire field....it would be nice to be able to see the overhead camera angles on all of the sacks/interceptions/bad passes to see our receivers waving their hands saying ''hey..I'm open!!
Unfortunately I do not see RG recovering/getting better....last year he got a pass with the knee injury. This year there are no excuses and he must know his career is on the line with every snap. The fear of failure is paralyzing him and he reverts back to the happy feet/run first option he is used to. Every day is more and more criticism and he just can't handle it. I just can't believe the team is cohesive at all when you have your leader playing subpar, not getting better, and knowing he is protected by the owner. Granted we are not an NFL team, but we have the same issue at my job....one golden boy who is really not that great at his job but the boss loves him......but everyone else on the team hates him. Don't know if that is the case on the Redskins.....but it just doesn't seem they are playing like a team at all...... |
