I think you missed something along the way here. But that's cool, I'm not gonna get angry about it

Yeah i forgot the lame ironman streak thing...I really have a problem with the whole thing, but to go after his kid like that as well, what kind of a man does that? That is truely repulsive

Ditto. Matich and Mitchell have given some brutal well deserved criticisms this year. They have called out players and coaches as harsh as anyone has. Every criticism they have made seems valid and coming from a genuine desire to see improvement.

The tone and purpose of Fletcher's statements about Haslett seem totally different. It sounds personal and self-serving.

As a fan, you never really know what happens behind the scenes and what people are really like when the cameras are off but the personal attack on a guy who carried him last year seems unfair.

That being said, I hope he doesn't return as D coordinator next year.

But we're just some schmoes and the majority of us really have no idea how the inner workings of an NFL front office and behind the scenes coaching decisions actually work. We just voice our opinion on what we see and hear.

They don't give a shit about us and what we think.

Re: Fletcher slams Haslett

Fletcher could have called him out as a bad coordinator without making it personal. Not sure why this is so hard for some to understand. Assholes gotta stick together I guess.

Yup. It's the way the world works: assholes are tolerable only to other assholes.

Re: Fletcher slams Haslett

I'm fine with Fletcher calling Haslett out, but he should have been more tactful about it. And saying what he did to Chase Haslett was an inexcusable d*ck move.

But combine Fletcher's very strong opinion on Haslett being a two-faced apple with the fact that Haslett covered for some of his wife-beating players in New Orleans, and you have to ask: we're ripping Fletcher for being an ass to this guy? Yeah, I know Haslett covered for Fletcher here, and that's why I think if Fletcher wanted to call him out he should have went about it in a more respectful way(instead of being so brash and aggressive), but some of what's been said about Fletcher on here is a bit harsh IMO. Maybe if some of what Haslett has said about people behind their backs would come out, some opinions on here would change.
