RG3 and Gruden?

What are the odds we get rid of both Gruden and RG3 as well as hire a GM like Bill Polan to remake the talent on this roster. It is just so clear that we need a strong football guy to come in and gut this team and rebuild from nothing.

Re: RG3 and Gruden?

I think more than likely we hang onto Gruden and get rid of RG3.

I was of the group that thought RG3 should be benched and seeing what the backups could do. And over those weeks it's become clear to me that the Oline is extremely at fault for RG3's struggles. But RG3 has his own mental shit going on. He needs to be taken down several pegs, he needs to be completely off of social media and focusing 110% on fixing his QB game, which, if nothing else Gruden was right about, is very very raw.

Re: RG3 and Gruden?

At this point I'd want us to consider Jim Harbaugh. He is a winner, even if it's for a short time. At least the franchise can move in the right directions. Danny could take Jim wanted the power.

I'd be all for it. Let's have a true house cleaning. Hire a real GM, kick Allen back to team President, and let the new GM call all the shots as far as hiring a new HC and putting together a new staff.

Re: RG3 and Gruden?

I'd give RG the nod over Gruden still but it's more a default position. Gruden hasn't earned anything, RG gave us 2012 and keeps his nose clean.

Doubt they both go.

I'm with you Matty, we need to gut this thing, the entire coaching staff, RG3, hire the RIGHT GM, stock pile picks thorugh trading down, and Start over.

That's funny here in SF we are having the same issue with Harbaugh and Kaepernick. Harbaugh was talking with Mark Davis (Raiders owner before the game) supposedly he never talks to the owner of a different team before a game and we know the raiders want him for next year. Harbaugh basically telling the 49ers management FU. Washington and SF offseason drama will be interesting, Shanahan's name has been brought up with SF as their next coach.

The part that makes me worried is how long it took to finally get rid of Vinny Cerrato...

There has to be a point where Danny wakes up and looks at this product (the team) and says it terrible. He has to wake up and see that the decisions HE is making is hurting this team. He needs a guy that is proven to know how to assess and acquire talent as his right hand.

I hope he has now, 15 years and getting worse each year. When free tickets are available and no sellouts he will freak out.

We could do a swap, Shanahan in SF and Harbaugh in DC.

Charley Casserly, Scot McCloughan (if he changes his mind), Trent Baalke would be my choices.
