Fom Newsday http://www.newsday.com/news/columnis...rail-columnist

"The Jets will also consider trading for a quarterback. Patrick Ramsey is available after falling out of favor with the Redskins. The Jets would surely love to pry Billy Volek away from Tennessee, where he worked under Mike Heim.erdinger. But the Titans are not expected to deal him, especially with oft-injured Steve McNair edging closer toward retirement."

The Jets are testing the trade market for quarterbacks, but not much is available. The Titans' Billy Volek, Eagles' Mike McMahon and Redskins' Patrick Ramsey are not believed to be available.

Marty should trade Rivers. Get another draft pick or a player. Be huge for SD.

Re: Jets In The Market For Qb!

if and when Ramsey plays he'll be 10 times smarter and playing to prove he's for real. Ramsey will start again this season. Redskins have 14 more games and all in a row! Brunell will show up again, but we won't succeed without the both of them. Ramsey and Brunell will take us to the promised land if they both play smart calculated Gibbs ball. And then there's the 70 yd bomb on 1st and 10 from the Redskins 30 yd line down 13-7 with less than 3 mins remaining...

Maybe Joey T was right!?!?

i think they will go after quincy carter or testaverde. both already know the system and they won't cost anything more than the money.. maybe in the off season. but i would be suprised if it happend now.

According to Sportings News this morning they are passing on Testeverde right now. They have brought in Quinn (from chicago last year), Doug Johnson and Jesse "The Bachelor" Palmer. Something tells me they aren't done considering it is a distinct possibility all of those guys are the same person using a bunch aliases. They are in trouble for sure. When you're hoping Fiedler can come back soon and save your season you have serious issues.

Of course Sporting News is talking about how the Pack might trade GB to a team in the AFC (Ravens,Miami,Jets). They did mention that the Jets ought to go after Ramsey.

Re: Jets In The Market For Qb!

John Clayton just said on ESPN radio that even if they looked at Ramsey, they wouldn't give more than a 4th round pick. Sigh.

If that's the case Ramsey isn't going anywhere

Re: Jets In The Market For Qb!

Here is how this trade will work out. We will give the Jets Ramsey and our #2 for their #3.

We just love giving away draft picks and players for jack crap.
