At least twice yesterday RG3 took a short drop, looked once, then dropped his head and started dancing in place before the rush got to him.

We call it "happy feet" when a QB does that, and yes it's when the QB is scared of getting hit.

That's actually more that a QB doesn't trust his eyes and is looking at the rush not downfield. QB's being scared of being hit don't run into danger as often as RG3 does. He's more reckless than scared. It's very difficult to be both.

That's RG3 fighting his instincts to take off and run a touchdown.

He has largely played with confidence and..........bravado. One of the traits I admire in him.
