Re: New Defensive Coordinator 2015
Anybody hear the clip of Gruden talking about Haslett's performance in the Philly game?
Chris Russell and the guys on espn 980 were reading into that Haslett's exit at the end of the season might not be so certain. Please god, I hope he is just saying kind things about a friend on his way out the door. |

Re: New Defensive Coordinator 2015
I kind of agree. We can't have this guy back calling the defense. The problem is there's serious nepotism going on at Redskin Park. The only way Haslett is fired if Snyder does it himself. Jay's not going to do it.

Re: New Defensive Coordinator 2015
if Jay doesnt fire than snyder should tell him to fire him. If jay refuses he should be let go.... Whoever they hire they need to go back to 4-3. 3-4 hasn't worked for us..you need a dominating NT for that, which we don't have. 4-3 is easier to draft for, most colleges run 4-3.....

Re: New Defensive Coordinator 2015
Thank you, the hangup people have with the 3-4 drives me bonkers. We're not even in a 3-4 the majority of the time. Half the teams in the league are technically a 3-4, yet how many "dominant" nose tackles are there really? It's a myth that without one you can't have a good D.

Re: New Defensive Coordinator 2015
Not saying you cant have a good D without one but our D has sucked since HAZ has been here but I prefer 4 down linemen whether or not you have a a LB put his hand in the dirt.....

Re: New Defensive Coordinator 2015
Seattle/NE are perfect examples. You watch those teams and it is obvious they don't follow a strict 4-3 or 3-4.

Re: New Defensive Coordinator 2015
Hazmat, Foerster, Kowitka and maybe Morris need to go. Especially the 1st 3 mentioned.
