NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports the Giants pulled a long-term offer to unsigned franchise player Jason Pierre-Paul after he injured his hand in a weekend fireworks accident. Per Rapsheet, the G-Men "do not believe a long-term offer is in the best interest of those involved at this point." JPP is expected to be okay, but the extent of the damage remains unclear. He appears to be dealing with nerve damage and burns. Pierre-Paul's franchise tag will earn him a cool $14.8 million this season. well they yanked the long term offer

They haven't made a long term offer to him yet and might just let him play this year with the franchise tag .

Donovan McNabb Arrested For DUI After Traffic Accident
Hey look, it's McDouchebag. Wonder if he still wants to give RGIII that advice?.... Somehow I imagine he'll blame Mike Shanahan for this as well.

Marshawn Lynch of Seattle Seahawks putting end to his biopic
I get it. He doesnt have a problem with promotion or marketing if he is the chief benefactor. But he be damned if he promotes and makes someone else money off his likeness. kinda over the whole "fight the power" thing .. coming from a well paid athlete. |

Nice, Jerry Garcia style. Hell of a way to pay homage especially during the 50 year anniversary shows.

Re: All things off season 2015.
That's horrible. Saw the report on ESPN. Totally crazy and hard to imagine it would affect his play. Sad and really a dumb, avoidable injury.

From what i'm reading online, people adjust remarkably well and very quickly to finger amputations. Depending on extent (whole finger, partial, etc), and his physical/psychological recovery -- I'm betting he surprises and is back to normal mid-season. |
