Scot McCloughan to be new Redskins GM

We have to understand that while it seemed as if it took no time for McCloughan to revamp the Seahawks, do remember that their first year back into the playoffs, they still had a losing record. If not for a crappy division, they would not have seemed so improved. While it seemed as if the Seahawks became good overnight, there was a since of slow and steady, and there was some major changes in roster during the progress.

I'm saying that to say that it's going to take McCloughan a while to bring in the right guys. He may still need to bring in the right head coach. This is a situation where progress is going to have to be shown in other ways rather than the record in the beginning, because I don't see this being a quick turnaround - but I do see McCloughan turning this team around as long as he is given a chance. But us fans need to be patient with him. He may make some moves that we're not necessarily "fans" of, but in the end, winds up being the best move for the franchise. It's going to be an interesting next four years guys. I definitely feel we have something to look forward to!
