But it's not really.

However, since the other thread is approaching 300 posts and I know some people get upset by long threads, I'm going to lock that one and keep this open with a new thread title

Hey ss, what's your opinion about the structure within the organization, what changes there can we anticipate?

I would expected Campbell to go and scouting department to be completely revamped, which will be a huge improvement to the org. I would hope McC will bring in someone from the outside, one of his guys, to be a like General assistant to him. Someone who can not only assit but can buffer as well and keep the lackies at bay. It seems like the skins organization is somewhat game of thrones-ish. Sadly.

You would think that scouts will stay until after the draft. Firing all the scouts in the lead up to the draft is cray cray, even if they are not the best scouts.

McCloughan said that he will go through FA and the draft with the current staff and this will be his evaluation time for them. He said he will make decisions after that whether new people need to be brought in.

Thank you for that. I missed that. Good decision by McC.

Like you, I think the whole FO thing is gonna go to poop in the fall. But if McC can reform our scouting and perhaps clear out some dead wood, that could be an enduring contribution of his.
