I would be happiest if we hired Wade Phillips. Guy has done good everywhere he has been. Vic Fangio would make me happier than Joe Barry, but aside from San Francisco he has been less than average as a coach.

Love listening to the local radio - especially when they have these super duper high expectations for the Broncos throughout the season only to get humbled in the post-season...thought they acquired all he pieces they needed to hang on defense only to be thwarted on offense...lol FUN

Yup. Doubt ANYONE that comes here will give us a top-10 defense next year, simply because of lack of talent. Fangio defenses have sucked in the past when he didn't have the talent. I'd bet Wade would have the highest chance of making lemonade from lemons. Anyway, hope SMcC gives him the talent he needs, but it's too much to replace in one draft/FA. Of note, the best defense is a good offense and if Griffin performs it would make everyone look better.
