I think we can all agree on this much: The interception was a very heavy price for the Seahawks to pay for going away from their bread and butter for one play. If the pass had just fallen incomplete, the Seahawks could have gone Beast Mode on the next play.

IMO that was the plan: throw now to loosen the defense, then go Beast Mode on the next play. It's not a bad plan...as long as you don't throw a pick.
