Early look at the top free agents for 2015 - ESPN

In case anyone is interested in the star power.

Really interesting to see Demarco Murry getting sold short. 16 ranking? I think people are really really overvaluing that Dallas Oline. I mean, sure they are good, but damn you have to take a beating to run the ball that much and still get that productive. IMO Murry was MVP on that offense and I think he can be very valuable outside of Dallas.

They put Torrey Smith ahead of Murray? laughable

murray gets hurt a lot. not a good trait for an expensive RB to have.

1. lots of DE. thats not good for rak but good for us.

2. that center Hudson is interesting. rumor is gruden wants bigger O line but Hudson seems to have all the right check marks - young, on the upside, position of need .... will he sign for the right price though?

with hudson at center, lich goes back to guard for 1 more yr (then we cut him), lets lauvau and long battle for other guard spot. if hudson gets injured, lich moves back to center ....

3. murray would be great on the bills or a team needing someone to carry their offense. maybe seattle to replace lynch?

The new GM is a draft guy. There won't be much in FA this year. Garcon should be not be brought back his contract is prohibitive, and it shouldn't be re-structured due to the fact that he shouldn't be in their long term plans. Play the rookies and the people that were drafted and that will be drafted.
Play the rookies to find out who is a NFL player and who's not. Build through the draft means you play very young players. The skins were 3-13 and 4-12, REBUILD FROM SCRATCH.

Garcon not in long term plans? What gives you that notion? Getting rid of garcon, in my opinion is just stupid, unless he wants major money.

IMO some people are just use to us letting go of players instead of holding on to the few good ones we have.

There are 9 million reasons to let Garcon go. Face facts this is a RE-BUILD, let him go and have that money to pay short term defensive help where there are talent gaps. if Garcon is here or not - this is a 8 win team at best. They are at least 2 yrs. away from contending, in any configuration you want to suggest. Blow it up and start fresh.

I think you are not calculating dead cap space in your equation.

Also, this is a business first off. If Danny and company just said F it and dropped every good player we had be tough to sell. The general public doesn't like to hear we are in a re-building stage; really puts some pressure on your marketing department.

Garcon, Morris, etc... they are the few stars we have folks want seem then and will pay to do so. You got at least maintain a level of hope that this might be a good team in 2015.

I agree, his release fee in 2015 is $4.4million. Not worth releasing him because we would still be on the hook cap wise. Next off season his release fee is only $2.2million.
Plus when Garcon has a capable QB throwing him the ball he is a great WR.
I would rather keep him at this time. Garcon is not the problem.

What if he is a being a cancerous influence in the locker room because he doesn't like the QB?

Garcon is a guy that never takes plays off and gives maximum effort no matter the score.

If saying what the rest of the roster and every football person who watches film is thinking then I guess he is guilty.

Are your referring to that QB that called out his teammates in a post game press conference to the national media no less?
At least Garcon did not do it standing on a stage with the lights and cameras rolling like that certain QB did.

More of a Cancerous influence: RGIII>Garcon

If Garcon or one of our top 3 Wr's get released it will be because of the massive Salary cap space our top3 WR's are taking up on a roster that has huge fundamental roster/talent issues at more critical positions (OL & DB).
Not because Garcon a bad apple, he is not.

Our WR corps is sound.
Leave it alone.
We got way too much other crap to fix.
