Everyone is better than Perry Riley, I was looking at Malcolm Smith and wondering if he could make the switch inside.

Agree. Lofton was aweful last year, no way is he an upgrade. I dont think we want anyone from that Saints defense. thats the last place we should be looking.

He has said he would like to play for the Giants ,if Eli reworks his contract you could see him and JPP on the same line .

I've been seeing him linked to the Dolphins.

Need to Know: Playing the odds predicting the Redskins’ 2015 O-line | Rich Tandler's Real Redskins

Agree with pretty much everything Tandler says here.

Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?

Pete Prisco produced an All-FA team based on youth and upside. Here are some players he mentioned that I think might fit the Redskins' needs:

LT -- Bryan Bulaga, Packers: At 25, he is coming off his best season and is the top tackle on the market. He can play both the right and left side, but has settled in nicely on the right side. I still think a team in need of an upgrade on the left side should consider him for that spot.

G -- Orlando Franklin, Broncos: He is 27, but he has a lot of good football left. He played well in the run game at left guard last season, but can also play right tackle.

RT -- Jermey Parnell, Cowboys: He's older at 28, but he hasn't played a lot of football. There isn't a lot of wear-and-tear on his body. So he works for this team.

Edge rusher -- Jerry Hughes, Buffalo Bills: This former Colts first-round pick developed into a solid edge rusher with the Bills, getting 20 sacks the past two seasons. He's only 26.

CB -- Chris Culliver, San Francisco 49ers: This 26-year-old stepped in for Tramaine Brock last season and played well. He has been a starter and also played well as a nickel back.

CB -- Kareem Jackson, Houston Texans: After a slow start to his career, this former first-round pick played well in 2014. He is 26 and coming off his best season. He will get action early in the market.

S -- Rahim Moore, Denver Broncos: After suffering a leg injury late in the 2013 season, then having major complications because of it, he bounced back with his best season in 2014. He started all 16 games and had four interceptions. He recently turned 25.

S -- Da'Norris Searcy, Buffalo Bills: He has played both free and strong safety, but he looks to be more comfortable as a strong safety. He started there last season for the Bills and had 65 tackles and three picks. He's 26.

IMO, Stefan Wisniewski belongs on this list, as well. He's only 25.

If I ruled Redskins Park, I'd try to re-sign Orakpo on a team-friendly deal, I'd re-sign Helu, then I'd try to sign Bulaga, Wisniewski, and Moore in FA. In the draft, I'd find a NT, a CB, and an ILB.

I'm on the fence about Orakpo .. If its a cost effective deal I mean I personally wouldn't care if they gave him another shot.. While we have Murphy I'm not sold on him YET, for this season... If the price is right, keep Brian.

I'm curious about Parnell. He might be a capable RT (he's still developing) and he has the Callahan connection.

From the little I've seen of him, Parnell looks like he might be able to help us. If so, Callahan will know it. If Callahan and Scot want him, that's fine with me. I don't pretend to know much, I just have my own favorite players.

With Rak's injury history, I'm thinking it would have to be a cost effective, perhaps incentive-laden, deal for the Skins to be interested.

Chatter down here in S. Florida is that it's pretty much a lock that Suh signs with the Dolphins.
