Hey look, we pursued a CB that had skills that compliment our current CB:

the Redskins now have another young, long press corner to pair with Bashaud Breeland. Culliver is listed at 6 feet, 199 pounds, measuring in very similar to Breeland (5-11, 197).

His strengths also match Breeland’s strengths, making them a solid young cornerback pairing. Culliver looks best suited to playing press-man coverage, where he can jam a wide receiver at the line of scrimmage and make use of his mirroring skills.
