Jamison Crowder Potential Domestic Violence

A woman posted pictures showing cuts and bruises claiming a history of domestic violence at the hands of Redskins WR Jamison Crowder.

The Redskins have issued a statement:

Quote:
“The Washington Redskins are aware of an off-field situation involving Jamison Crowder. We have been in touch with the NFL office and will continue to follow proper League protocol and assist them in any way we can to gather all of the facts. We will not be making any further comment at this time.”

^An ESPN Now blurb says the same thing.

Quote:
The agent for Redskins rookie WR Jamison Crowder denied his client hit a woman, saying photos posted to his Instagram and Twitter accounts are the result of the accounts being hacked. There is no record of any domestic violence incident involving Crowder in Loudoun County, where the Redskins train year-round.

This is the modern day reason of why someone is - innocent until proven guilty. My guess is - this would be hard to prove or even reasonably hard to give the benefit of the doubt to the accuser if the injuries are not fairly recent or were not reported to the police at the time they occurred.

I would think in this case, the NFL would have to wait until this gets into the judicial system and plays out- if it even gets to that point.

Judging from these pics, doesn't look good. If he indeed did this, the Redskins should just part ways with him. Apparently it isn't a one time thing either, he's been doing this over the course of their relationship.

It doesn't look good only because Crowder's side isn't in strong denial of this. I still would reserve judgment because at this point it's literally a she said/he said type of story. Where you can give Crowder the benefit of doubt is- this apparently is being triggered by his girlfriend being/feeling scorned. And the accusation doesn't seem to be made directly because of being abused.

... It just seems her reasons behind the accusations are a little shady. Doesn't mean they're not true but gives reason to doubt them.

Charges against VCU basketball star Mo Alie-Cox dropped after video surfaces | WTVR.com

Folks read this story about what a star basketball player here in Richmond just went through. His name was dragged through the mud for a month or so as a guy who punches a women....what everybody didn't know was at a hearing a video surfaced showing the incident where our basketball player had his back turned to the alleged victim.

The dumb bitch just submited an apology letter the other day:

PDF: Morgan Kaye's apology letter to Mo Alie-Cox - Richmond.com: City Of Richmond News

lets see how this plays out before we say eff him and cut him...

Re: Jamison Crowder Potential Domestic Violence

Crowder's camp is flatly denying the incident. For now that is good enough for me. That would change if information of his guilt surfaces.
But for now "he is innocent".

Re: Jamison Crowder Potential Domestic Violence

How about this, since we live in a country where the rule of law is supposed to be important, why doesn't everyone wait for something other than one side of a story to come out before passing judgement. I have no damn idea what happened. What is known now is that someone is accusing him of something and posted pictures. That's it. I am sure he'll have a side. I know this might be a surprise but, shocker, she could be lying. Of course maybe she isn't in which case he should get cut and prosecuted but for now we have a one-sided story and nothing but pictures that prove nothing really. I'm not defending anything other than the concept of reasonable and rational thought.

Re: Jamison Crowder Potential Domestic Violence

Domestic Violence is a big concern and should never be taken lightly but I do have two word for people ,"Duke Lacrosse".Yes I know it wasn't DV but it was false accusations that ran rampant .
