I agree but we need a qb that at very least will not loose games on there own..I truly believe a average mid pack qb gives us a chance at 8 wins..rglll will flat out loose games because he can't get the ball out of his hands..and my comment about him faking injury may be over the top but I watched the play over and over and saw nothing to indicate he got hurt.he did not take a headshot so what is up...he payed on the field for 3 minutes and walked off they then report he was fine..so what is up with that..

He may very well got concussion from earlier hit.he got slammed hard..but it's funny how he drops the ball and we loose possesion to lions and all of a sudden he gets hurt..I admit I have no faith or hope in rglll ...I am ready to be proved wrong...

Initially it was a shoulder injury then all of a sudden a concussion pops up in the picture. After watching the replay, the Lions' linebacker barely grazed Griff's helmet. Something's got to give. Remember, Kirk is the one Scot M. came close to drafting before selecting Russell Wilson. This tells us he did his extensive scouting (which he's greatly known for) and believes in the talent Kirk Cousins has. ...and we're all believers in Scot M. right.......?

Given how many hits he had taken before, it wouldn't surprised me if he got concussed before that final takedown.

I noticed that he seemed to be shaking off the cobwebs after the first big hit.

RG3 looked very discombobulated in that last play. I feel like he was already concussed or something.

Agreed. It most certainly happened before that play and likely contributed to his fumbling the ball in the first place.

I trust Scott.
Sure the line had it's faults but all the sacks/ knockdowns were RG3's fault.
He's slow, unsure and can't run the offense like a pro QB. I love the guy. Bought his jersey. Wanna believe. But facts are Colt and Cuz run this offense better than RG3. These are facts.

RGIII no longer seems to move well in confined spaces, and has the pocket awareness of someone who just downed a fifth of Jack Daniels. It seems that Peyton Manning and Tom Brady avoid the rush better. Sorry but he looks helpless out there at the moment.

If rglll got a concussion it was on the hard hit he took earlier when he got slammed..that could explain him dropping the ball like he did..that last play when he fumbled he did not get hurt there..the guy rolled across his mid section..if he starts the season it will be the owners call because at this point he has played his way to the 3rd qb spot..it is time to move on and stop all this insanity ..He is never going to be the guy!

Re: Robert Griffin III ready to turn career around with Redskins in 2015

I've always given RGIII the benefit of the doubt, but even with the crappy pass blocking last night, he just didn't look very good at all. He looks lost going back to pass and every time he does, I'm just waiting for something bad to happen. Unfortunately with him, it's all about the drama and nothing about consistent really good playing.

I'm not giving up on Cousins even though he hasn't been consistent and has looked bad at times. I'm old enough to remember how Bradshaw, Favre and Staubach were terrible for their first several years and then became confident and really good for a long time. Maybe it's time to give Cousins the chance to go a full season and not get benched after one bad game.

Keim's take:

Washington Redskins wanted more progress; they got an injured RG III instead - Washington Redskins Blog - ESPN

Re: Robert Griffin III ready to turn career around with Redskins in 2015

RGIII thinks "standing in the pocket" means literally "standing still in the pocket".
RGIII thinks "not relying on your athleticism" means literally "standing still in the pocket"

I can't help thinking that when RGIII is out on the field he's purposely giving a big FU to Gruden for not letting him play the way he wants. Kind of like. See what happens when I play your way. I'd be the greatest QB in football if I could just play the way I want to.

Even his comments in training camp like "I'm playing the way they want me to". just sounds like something a team guy would never say. Just seems like he has a lot of backhanded veiled subtle comments, that ultimately say, "Everyone is against me, it's me against the world"

I don't know how anyone on the team could hear the comment "I'm the best QB on the team", and not think this guy is just a total douche.
