Three reactions. One, if accurate, it is deeply troubling and undermines what hope I have of RGIII getting things back on track. I hope it isn't true. Two, if coaches are sharing that with the media, they should be fired. You can't do that as it makes for a toxic environment. Three, it shows how insane the media has been - anonymous sources with incendiary quotes. Honestly, when I see crap like that, I wonder how anyone operating under that kind of scrutiny can be expected to be successful. Oh, and I am reminded that anonymity is the height of cowardice.

I hope RGIII shines and then tells Reid to F off.

I hate to say, but looking at some of their GIF videos, it does look like the Redskins Offensive Line, either doesn't like RG3 or they just don't care.

Does The Redskins' Offensive Line Hate RG3? Check Out These GIFs And Decide For Yourself
I've brought up that same point in games last yr and was shot down.I would think theres no way they are not trying as hard as they can while the plays going on to block, but like the author says, not helping him up after he's gotten nailed is very concerning and to me says a lot.

Exactly!

As you mentioned, it does seems that the offensive line is blocking for RG3, or at least trying. The video GIFs in the linked article, however, seems to make it clear that the offensive line is not a big fan of RG3.

Personally, I played offensive line in high school. When I played, the senior quarterback on our team, was a 'team guy' and a natural leader, and everyone loved him. The junior quarterback, however, was a selfish jerk, and he was not well liked. I can tell you that the offensive line blocked for both quarterbacks, however just like in the GIFs, anytime the junior quarterback got knocked down, no one bothered to help him up.

So, as you said, the GIFs of RG3 no being helped up by the offensive line is very telling.

I guess you have to go back and watch a guy like Rogers and see if OL guys are falling over themselves to pick him up.

I did a quick search on youtube for Aaron Rodgers getting sacked, and every one I found had his teammates quickly coming over to help him up.I stopped looking after finding 4 of them.

Now we will have to see if Cousins gets nailed on a sack if any of the lineman come and help him up,if not I guess we can assume our lineman are assholes

Obviously the oline is going to try and do their job. Their jobs are on the line. Maybe they arent helping him up because they are afraid they are going to break something.

Re: Robert Griffin III ready to turn career around with Redskins in 2015

So did that hit give him a concussion?

"I have no idea," Griffin said. "I just know I was in some pain, and the trainers came out, and that was it."

Griffin then insinuated that he could've stayed in the game.

"That's the coach's decision," Griffin said on why he was pulled from the game. "As we like to say, 'I just work here, man.'"

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/rg3-cle...6140--spt.html

I had no problem with RG3s "i feel like im the best QB in the league" comment. I actually want him to feel that way. i also had no problem with his dad putting his arms up and pretending to be a rusher w RG3 after practice one day.

but this "as we like to say, i just work here" comment just annoys the shit out of me. its like he just wants to walk right up to the line of taking passive-aggressive comments at (i assume) gruden.

stop being a petulant little bitch mr. griffin. you shit stinks pretty bad. the "they want me to be ordinary" comment as well.

if i was gruden i would be banging my head into a brick wall. this dude just doesnt seem to get it. comes off as uncoachable, unwilling to truly embrace what he needs to embrace.

like desean said, "you cant do epic shit with basic people". your a basic person RG3 and your becoming whiny to boot.

i thought his motto this offseason was "speak less, do more" or something.

That is exactly how I felt when I saw that comment. Especially if he made it to the media or in a press conference type setting.
If that was one my employees that made that comment i would get rid of them regardless of who they are. Is that the face of the franchise making that comment? Wow.

Re: Robert Griffin III ready to turn career around with Redskins in 2015

I believe Cousins will be starter by week 3. Just my gut feeling. He seems more confident and IMO it's just not going to work out with Griffin in dc.

Seems like they want cousins to earn it. Believe he's the QB2 this week. So obviously they liked what he did last week and this will be a good challenge since it's the dress rehearsal game.

I see kirk being the starter for the majority of this season.

Just my 2 cents

Maybe they should let some air out of the footballs and maybe some air out of Roberts head also at redskins park!

The virtual end of the RG III era. I think they have made the decision already to get rid of him. They can't risk him getting hurt or they are out a cool $16 million, which someone said is like a tenth of their cap for next season. Not sure about the cap issue, but $16 million can bring in much needed talent. They will hint around for trade offers, maybe someone will take a gamble with him, although at this point I doubt it.
