I always liked RG3, but at this point, the saga needs to end. And it's not me "giving up" on RG3 or anything like that. I'm simply done with the side-show. We can blame the media all we want but at the end of the day, Cousins doesn't generate that kind of drama. As a team in re-build mode we need to rid ourselves of any added issues.

I'm sick of the whole "It's not the grind, it's the find" kind of stuff. The added slogans and mantras a below-average quarterback back should NOT be making.

Re: Robert Griffin III ready to turn career around with Redskins in 2015
The new GM will want a QB of his own choosing.
None of them are on this roster. He'll draft one eventually but for now will make do. Personally, I think you run the ball and hope Kirk cuts back on the interceptions. Whatever happens, the rejuvenation of the Redskins is a long term project. Building blocks such as Scherff, Jones, Galette, Smith will be put in place with more to follow in the future. Don't believe that RG3 is part of the solution in his eyes. |

it's not rocket science, play him if he's healthy.
2012 is proof, he knows how to do it

Does anyone think this has to do with what he said at his presser? Maybe the " I just work here" comment didn't go over too well with the folks in the front office.

I guess I have a hard time believing that an independent neurologist would come up with a bogus "he can't play anymore" to do the team's bidding. If the team is finding a way to get rid of him, honestly I think that may be the best for the team and RG3.

I wonder how much the poor choice of words RGIII has had the last month is starting to get him in trouble with the owner? Snyder's loyalty and patience may have run out. |

WTF? If RG3 speaks they tell him he talks to much. When he gives the media a BS answer like "Man I just work here" then he pisses people off. he just can't win. He should just do a Marshawn Lynch Just say Yea or No to every question. I guess when your the man you can say anything but if you suck you get slammed on anything you say.

I think the independent neurologist saw the press conference and declared RG3 mentally unfit to play just based on his idiotic responses.

I don't even care how or why at this point. All I know is all this bickering and drama is just beyond tiring. People eat up this drama and then wonder why the media feeds us this shit. Who fucking cares lets just play some football.

I agree this all sounds like a damn soap opera. And real men don't watch soaps. So lets drop this BS and line up and kick some Ravens ass.

Re: Robert Griffin III ready to turn career around with Redskins in 2015
What is completely bad is that this is the warm up...if they had a conspiricy to bench RG3...they would have done it at the begiinning of the week to get Cousins reps with the 1's. No one in their right mind can expect a guy with ZERO practices with the ones to have any timing down at all. If anything...the conspiricy would be to set up Cousins to fail, to calm the fan base down to bring RG3 in as the saviour when Cousins throws 2 picks due to poor timing. Cousins throws to a spot on timing based on knowing his receivers. This is not going to be the same as throwing to the 2's. He is likely going to be late on the longer passes due to the speed differences. Check downs should be solid though. Let's watch for that. I actually have far more faith in Cousins' development into a solid pocket game manager aka a weaker armed Brad Johnson.
RG3 is someone who was supposed to revolutionize the game...he did for about 6 games in a row 3 years ago...then he got clobbered, I saw it personally...it sucked....and the drama...what drama! We cut a strong offensive coordinator in favor of a player for heaven sake. The Redskins do best as a TEAM...even when loudmouth Theismann was the QB, there were a half dozen others outspoken on both sides of the ball to balance him out....this team has never been successful with a single star or a potential one...be it Deon Sanders, Bruce Smith, or RG3. We won superbowls with above average QB's with strong defenses and amazing Olines. SCREW the QB position!!. We need a game manager...that is all. I want a TEAM....not a savior!! and a coach who inspires and commands respect. The reality is ....we dont have any of these right now....except...I really do think Cousins could be a keeper...but we shall see tomorrow when they throw him to the dogs in a very difficult situation with a weak still developing line. One thing I trust...our new GM....in 3 years, this team will look far different, unless Danny screws it up or McG goes back to the bottle.
