I hope the reports are off base because from a football perspective it seems rash to say the least.

But if the reports are true why can't they keep anything in house?

Like I said the media hates the Redskins, kick them while they are down. I don't think Danny would be stupid to sabotage Scot after all the shit through the years that he has put this franchise through and now is trying to clean it's image. I trust no one in the media.

Which I find laughable when people quote Jason Reid as a source or the fact that he's one of the Redskins reporter on ESPN.

I have a feeling that the disagreement is likely to be whether the team can gain something in getting rid of RG3 (Snyder) or just cut your losses (everyone else). Regardless, RG3 is done in DC.

Agreed. Don't know why everyone jumps on Snyder as a bad man. My guess is that Snyder probably agrees Griffin is done, but the disagreement is likely to be something like Gruden / McC want to cut him to avoid a season of distraction, and Snyder is asking whether they could just bench him for the year and continue to work on trade offers. I'd agree with national media reporting on this, he's done as the QB for the Redskins and they wouldn't even risk putting him on the field ever again given the risks of the contract.

WORST case scenario is we cut him, and the Eagles pick him up.. He'd have a much higher chance of doing well in that offense, and there's near certainty Bradford gets injured at one point. Would HATE HATE to see him beat us, since there is probably some potential for Griffin doing okay on another team.

Spot on. Nick Foles threw for 27 TDs and 2 INTs in that offense. It gets so many targets running free that it would negate Robert's biggest weakness, hesitating when a guy isn't wide open.

My biggest fear. IMO he would be 2012 RG in that system.

You know what though I can't really hate on him. Yes he's made mistakes but organization sans Snyder has treated him like shit so if he rights his career in Philly, I will just tip my hat.

I'd like to see him in Philly. It's his best chance. If he is successful then I'll eat crow but much like the Eagles when they let McNabb go to the Redskins, I'm pretty confident that he fails there too and at least then people will realize just how bad he is. I'm not convinced that KC is ready to take this team to 10 win seasons but this is a team sport and having a QB who fits into the system and can manage the game would help make huge strides in setting the direction for this team. Give KC two years as the lone starter without the RG3, emphasize the run with Jones and Alf and spend the next 2 years drafting in the trenches and secondary. Continuity and vision is king.

Good or bad, I think we need to trade RG3 for a bag of peanuts to help us with our cap. Perhaps RG3 would be willing to renegotiate the contract to something that doesn't have a 16M injury guarantee to go to a place outside of the NFC East.

That, to me, is the best option to cut ways with Mr Drama.

Jason Reid is an insufferable moron. That clown will be out of the sports media soon. He's terrible.
