^What makes the contract even better is the fact that we have the right of first refusal for next year.
Still, not a big fan of this move. I don't necessarily believe everything I've read about the guy, but where there's smoke there's usually fire. And Jay Gruden didn't exactly show great leadership skills last season. |

Literally NO financial risk. So either you don't like depth or didn't pay attention to the Desean Jackson situation, where bringing in a supposed bad apple didn't ruin anything at all.

We have potentionally 4 starters at OLB. 2 excellent pass rushers and two that could be. I like it. Don't like his off field stuff, but it's so low risk that lets let it play out.

Everyone should have at least some concern about this signing, even if folks disagree about the level of concern and whether it warrants taking a pass - unless you can not a whit about the character of guys on the team. For those (like me) who do, while I'd vote to pass on the guy, I don't assume folks who weigh it differently are dense (or indifferent to domestic violence). No reason for this to devolve to name-calling. Let's save that for the Cowpukes.

Realistically based on what we know, this is a risky and unwise move.
But the key part is - do you believe in McC, since he's telling us in no uncertain terms he's done a Lot of research on this guy and it checks out. Knighton vouches for the guy. I personally think there's risk -- but im willing to trust that our brass has done their due diligence to reduce risks. For vet minimum this could create a ferocious d-line, at least on paper.
