As to Scherff or Long to LG if Moses has really stepped it up and is ready to go as the starting RT -- okay. works for me. Having played line (a bazillion years ago), I would suggest it is a more difficult move from RG to LG than it is from RT to RG. Since everything works out from the center, all of a sudden your playing a mirror image of what you were doing before.

I see what you mean about the difficulties in moving to the other side of the line. My thought was simply about putting the best five linemen on the field together, since that is said to be Callahan's preference. I don't know if Callahan sees O-Linemen as generic pieces to be moved around until he discovers the best combination of players or what exactly he means by putting the best five OL on the field.
It's possible, in Callahan's mind, that Lauvao might be the best LG right now without being one of the top five OL. Or maybe he
is one of the top five linemen. i don't know what Callahan thinks in that regard. But if Scherff, Long, and Moses are three of the top five generic linemen, I wonder if Callahan would move either Scherff or Long to LG.
