Re: Bradshaw eating some crow
Matty:
Actually, you can't let all the "Warpathers" off the hook so easily. Remember after Week 1 when we had threads devoted to how the players could not possibly ever trust Joe Gibbs again. Leaping to conclusions affects lots of people - - and not all of them are on TV or write for newspapers or for Internet sites...

Yeah, but did SC actually say there was a majority of warpathers that didn't trust Gibbs? I didn't see that in his post, and for the most part, you probably agree with him in saying that there certainly are a few that didn't trust Gibbs and may still not. Overall, I believe what SC said was quite accurate. I'm not really getting into the Ramsey thing and right now don't really care....we're winning..that's all that matters.

FYI, there is a tendency to lump many of us who bashed Gibbs' decision to bench Ramsey with those who called Gibbs an idiot. I disagreed with his decision (while recognizing that he knows a hell of a lot more about football than I do) but I also admitted that I could be wrong. I didn't like how Gibbs went back on his word by proclaiming Ramsey the starter for 05' and yanking him after less than one game. It will be perfectly appropriate to rub my nose in it (I'll be very happy to eat crow) if, at season's end (or even by Week 8) we did very well (8-8). It's still a tad early. |

Re: Bradshaw eating some crow
I really don't dislike Bradshaw or Jimmy Johnson, but I personally do not put much stock in their opinions unless have heard the opinion expressed by other more credible sources many times before. Therefore, for him to be eating crow is not a huge realization. Just my two cents.....
