But we don't/can't know whether Griffin was looking to run or scramble to make an off-schedule or scramble play. There wasn't any receiver open for the 1st down so Griffin stepped up into open space looking to escape the pocket from there we don't know what he was gonna do scramble or run because he fumbled the ball.
