It's a conditional pick. And only in 2017 -- because the 49ers already had a bunch of picks next year. I'm okay with this.. He's young, relatively inexpensive and has potential. Could help w receiving and blocking, we'll see this weekend, could develop into a bigger Niles Paul.

And I think Carrier himself said he "picked up" a #41 jersey because it was available. But I'd bet he was trying to be politically correct.
