Re: Around the Nfl week 1
I watched a lot of broncos last year especially and I'm really confused as to how many are picking them. Manning has no arm. It was so bad 2nd half last season that they became a running team. Ironically, they have a solid roster but a QB with no arm strength to get it done. |

Re: Around the Nfl week 1
I was watching some of this game today and that is my exact thought as well. He looks literally like he has nothing left. Manning looks and moves like an old man. My prediction might sound crazy but I don't think he makes it the whole season.
One must wonder if Manning could be benched for reasons other than injury, or due to the great respect he commands, does the coach let him battle throughout the rest of the year, since he most likely retires at season end....

Trade RGIII to Denver, wasn't that his favorite team growing up?

Denver has a solid squad. I guess they will test theory whether you can win in today's nfl with the game manager Peyton. His arm is less than Brad Johnson when Brad won with Tampa Bay. |

Suggs is done for the season.
Couldn't of happened to a nicer guy.

Oh yeah, Thank god we didn't hire Lovie Smith. He sucks as a HC.

Re: Around the Nfl week 1
Honestly, I think thats why some of us are kinda pissed about this game. We actually held our own for most of the game against a better team and gave it away. Had it been a typical skins loss of the last 6 or 7 years, we turn it off at halftime and go about our merry way.
Im complaining, but I have to say, I would rather have a reason to be passionate about this team than just go about my merry way. Some people are already predicting McC's demise... If so, I am gone. Certainly wont pick an NFC East team to root for, but an AFC team out west might gain a fan if Snyder jettisons McC without giving him some years to make it work. |

Re: Around the Nfl week 1
As bad as today felt, we are not that bad. The Raiders, Browns, Tampa Bay, Jacksonville, and Carolina are worse of.
