Re: Good, bad and ugly. Post game reactions vs Dolphins
clearly calling an agressive throw on 3rd and 18 backed up against your end zone makes zero sense when your running draws on 3 and 8 on your opponents' 30 yard line...its not consistent.

He was rolling away from pressure because of the formation...I believe they had 3 WR and 1 TE...and the TE was split out. I think it was either pistol or shotgun. So that's aggressive out within your own red zone

"It's frustrating, because we did have some opportunities there, both sides of the ball," coach Jay Gruden said. "And we've got to punch it in."
My sentiments exactly. |

I'm a Michigan State alumnus so I know a bit about Cousins.
Cousins can take you where you need to go under the right circumstances. He's got very good character and just enough talent. No, he's not going to be Tom Brady, but he can be Eli Manning or Joe Flacco with enough time and the right supporting cast. Of course with your team getting the right supports is going to take some time. But, hey, they didn't blow a 21-3 lead today. Unlike some teams. *sits in a corner and cries* |

Kicked my teams ass for the entire first half in every phase of the game including coaching. Damn good RB. Excellent TE. Suh was not much of a factor. You did a lot of good things. KC is going to be good.

Great job by these 2, hopefully they keep the momentum against the rams.

Five of our first six draft picks played today. That's a good draft class.

I bet Ross is our No. 3 next week. I like Grant but he just doesn't stretch the field.

Why isn't Crowder playing in the slot? God knows he can't do any worse than Roberts and I'm pretty sure he's faster.

I think he can compliment them like Monk complimented Clark and Sanders. Certainly not saying he will remotely touch Monk in terms of talent and what he did on the field, just that type of player. |

If DJax is out, then bring Ross up to stretch the field with PG, have Crowder in the slot and bring Grant in on 4 wide sets. Sent from my VS985 4G using Tapatalk

UPs
D Riley&Keenan ++ loved Riley hit on Tannehill near the sideline Dashon + solid tackling, a couple of stops Trenton ++ flies around active solid tackler, brings some pop Hatcher+++ picking up where he left off last year but now OL can't focus on him Preston++got Hatch free on a stunt, had a forced fumble + recovery Offense Love the commitment to the ground game Alf++++freaking stud, you can't bring that dude down on first contact Reed++ please, please stay healthy Garcon++ doesn't all separate but he's such a tough dude, gotta find more ways to feature him and scheme him open by design OL++ very solid outing from the run blocking unit Downs Penalties Amerson-inconsistent Roberts--c'mon man, how long can we continue to throw to him? Its frustrating watching him win and get open but then drop the ball...its the opposite of Garcon TE blocking--yuk. they made as many holding penalties as blocks. we cannot count on them in the run game right now Unimaginative playcalling-- Kirk--gotta cut down those turnovers and make more clutch plays |

Re: Good, bad and ugly. Post game reactions vs Dolphins
I thin Kirk did his.job today. There are a few things he can do better. Overall he managed the game well.
The offensive line handled the Fins defensive line. They open up holes and pass protected well. If they play like that all year well have a chance to win a lot games. Morris was excellent. Enough said... The defensive front looked good for the part. But they didn't get enough pressure. We were good against the run. Not so good against the pass. Jay Gruden is a below average head coach. I think our first two drives got halted because of his conservative play calling. We had third and short. The Fins were obviously playing the run and moron played right into their hands. He is not the man for this job. Our secondary sucks. They stop anybody. They catch easy interceptions. They can't tackle to save.their lives. Andre Roberts is 100% pure garbage. After watching him today I have to ask myself why is he on the team? What does he contributed? How many passes does he have to drop before we drop him? |
