I would have been happier if previously shitty teams like the Rams/Titans/etc. had lost. Makes me wonder how far we have to go.
That play reminded me of The Blind Side, when Michael Oher did the same thing. Even though it was a penalty I was proud of Moses, honestly it felt like the first time I'd ever seen some fight in him. It looked bad since the other guy wasn't his size though.

It looked somewhat bad I agree, but those are the plays coaches love. I guarantee Callahan was applauding Moses for literally taking his man out of the play.

I've said it before, this team is playing with some pride and it's so refreshing. Guys out there WANT to win and they're gonna hit you in the mouth if they have to, to accomplish that goal.

Great to see the o-line--how long has it been? Love seeing how Scherff gets to the second level and finishes plays. He was flying around even on screens and stuff. If he and Moses can continue this trajectory, we're getting somewhere. And the rest of the line looked good as well.

The D-line was good too. This is a proper inside out build. Takes time, but this is correct. Too bad Gallett never made it out there. Great to see Kerrigan back in form!

Bad: Teams, obviously. Amerson. Roberts. Red zone!

Ugly: shit, injuries are just killing us. Wow.

About the bitching about playcalling. I give it a pass. First, we're trying to establish a run/power identity. That means sticking with it, "conservative" though that may seem. Second, DJax's injury took a bunch of the deep looks off the table. That had to change things. Third, penalties. You can blame that on the coach, but it makes it hard to call plays.

I can't remember ever seeing so many injuries across not only the League but college too. I don't know if I just haven't been paying that much attention but it seems like football players are dropping like flies. Fortunately we're not the only team fighting it.

So who starts in place of Nacho? Jeron probably, or can Robinson play SS?

Here's what happened on the redskins last play (4th and 7) Reed is a hell of a tight end, but must correct this. http://t.co/QDYGQjten8

Gruden said it after the game, it was cover 0, Reed needed to cross the face of the safety.

Cousins threw to the right spot but nobody was home.

There were a lot of positives from the game.
Preston Smith forced two fumbles and recovered one.
DHall looks fully recovered from his injury.

We had training wheels on Moses and Scherf but I think we can take them off and see what they can do.
We have a few really good guys to help rebuild this team at key positions.

Good cover of the entire game. This writer is new...at least to me. Really like his coverage.

The good.. The physicality. I haven't seen this team play real football in a long time. They played with fire Sunday.

The bad.. penalties and special teams

the ugly.. the fans. I felt outnumbered at a season opener at home and that pisses me off. The fans that were there were bitching the whole game, up by 10, bitching.. F**K those guys. We have some serious fair weather fans.

This has not typically been the case. The Skins are known for having a loyal fan base. Definitely not a good thing to see all the fins fans in attendance......

I think there is a contingent of serious fans but that was the worst showing I've ever seen at FedEx Field. I saw a lot of Rams fans there when we beat them by 9-7 a few years back and I expect to see a bunch of them there this weekend. I live 5 hours away and I get there for 3-4 games a year. The fans that live in the area have little to no excuse. Believe me, it sucks watching them lose. They've lost every game I've been to except that 9-7 Rams game and the Eagles game last year. But I still go whenever I can because I love the Burgundy and Gold. I bleed Burgundy and Gold. and it pisses me off that these same sorry ass fans will start showing up when they are winning again and driving up the prices for those of us who really should be there.

Heard this stat coming into work...Since Special Teams Coach Danny Smith was fired we have had 9 Kickoff/Punt Returns for TDs in 33 games. The next closest team has 5 in that time span.

Terrible folks
