Re: Around the Nfl week 1
Honestly, I think thats why some of us are kinda pissed about this game. We actually held our own for most of the game against a better team and gave it away. Had it been a typical skins loss of the last 6 or 7 years, we turn it off at halftime and go about our merry way.
Im complaining, but I have to say, I would rather have a reason to be passionate about this team than just go about my merry way. Some people are already predicting McC's demise... If so, I am gone. Certainly wont pick an NFC East team to root for, but an AFC team out west might gain a fan if Snyder jettisons McC without giving him some years to make it work. |

I was extremely pleased to see Mariota outclass Rapeis Winston once again. Rapeis is going to start seeing Mariota in his dreams.
Winston is equal parts Jarmacus Russell and Johnny Manziel. |

I guess Suh is trouble for this sneaky kick move on Morris:

Re: Around the Nfl week 1
I'm glad Suh left the D. I no longer have to defend a scumbag.
And from what I know Morris is a nice guy. A lot of players would have retaliated. Funny thing is I chalked this game up as a loss to begin with. On the road, at a home opener, on the west coast. Yet they gave me hope being up 21-3 in the second quarter. Then, they crush my hope. The OL decided to block like they ingested a cocktail consisting of Virginia Gentleman bourbon and Ambien for the rest of the game, and that was that. |

Around the Nfl week 1
After watching these two teams play I am suddenly rejuvenated about our chances in the east. If we can just shake that loser feeling and stop expecting to lose than we just have to sit back and wait for Bradford to go down for the season.
Edit: we are clearly as talented and capable as these two teams. |
