Penalties need to be viewed in context. For example, Jacksonville is among the teams with the fewest penalties, yet they are still not good enough to win. On the other hand, Green Bay is among the most penalized teams but they have a great QB and a stout defense, so they can overcome penalties.

I suppose that for teams with middling talent penalties could be the difference between a winning season and a losing season.

Seriously, look how open he gets. He needs a QB with an arm and confidence and he will be a TD machine.

At the time the QB has to make the decision to throw the ball, he's no more open than the reciever that got the throw. Two things are happening there. 1, when the QB is looking at 1 receiver, the safety will cut towards that receiver leaving the other more open but it's too late the throw is made. 2, This is where QB/WR chemistry comes into play and you won't have that with a young WR 2 games into a career. QB doesn't know exactly where this kid is going to be yet. If he can keep getting into open space, he will get opportunities. Those plays don't illustrate an issue with the QB they illustrate that Crowder is doing his job and is fast. I'm pleased with that..
