Or, perhaps getting rid of DeSean jackson and LeSean McCoy might have had something to do with it as well.

Its funny to me that Chip Kelly has taken zero responsibility. He never says its on him...9 outta 10 times he's blaming his own players. The same players he chose. Macklin, D Jax, Matthews, and McCoy are pro bowl players, but not good enough to play for Kelly.
