Re: Redskins v. Jets Gameday Thread
I am amazed at how many people can not see how much the team has improved since last year. Moses has 6 career starts and that was the most on the o-line. They are on the 4th TE, both starting DB's and safety is out, and your primary WR has been out all season with a hamstring injury.
I do not care if KC threw two INT today, he is auditioning for his job next year. Going into the season, everybody agreed this was a 6 or 7 win team. They are still on pace to reach 6 or 7 wins. |

Re: Redskins v. Jets Gameday Thread
One guy who has always been good is Matt Hasselbeck. Isn't he a free agent this year? Don't laugh at me but I know he is going to turn 40 this year but he hasn't had major injury and when you said a FA Bridge QB, I immediately thought of him. He has played very well filling in for Andrew Luck and i bet he could do a fine job starting one season, or as needed. Having my doubts if KC is the long term answer but either way i think he is in the mix next year...

Re: Redskins v. Jets Gameday Thread
I didn't mean have him has the QB of the future - but he has shown through his career that he has been able to bridge the gap between the present, and until the future QB is ready. He would be a solid and dependable until your new guy is ready...

Not a bad idea...but the Redskins already have a guy on the roster like that...Colt McCoy. Why not start Colt McCoy. Seriously, I honestly think that he my be the best option.

Re: Redskins v. Jets Gameday Thread
The guy is 40. He'll be 41 next year. If he wants to be a backup, or a 3rd string, fine. But someone that age has no reason being around a football as a 16 game starter, i.e. Peyton Manning this season. He's just lucky he has an all star defense and a ton of weapons around him. Any other team with how he's played so far this season and he wouldn't be starting.

Re: Redskins v. Jets Gameday Thread
A Shanny, Cooley, and Gruden would make you think Kirk can do it. It's time for SM to be looking for the next head coach and qb. And a leader, let Gruden and whomever he wants to qb play out the season. I said before the season this will crack as a coach b/c of the leadership issues. Just wait, the rumors and comments will start very soon around Redskins park.
