That article is utter BS. There is no way a coach or front office would deliberately sabotage a player that would result in a negative impact on what happens on the field. It is all about winning in the NFL, no coach is going to sit a pass rushing threat in a nickle situation to darken his stats. Some of these guys have huge egos and can't admit someone is better than them or their skills have diminished.

Adam Carriker did a fine job of limiting himself. I don't think he needed much help. He had his best season in the league in 2011 and then fell off the map after that. Were the coaches trying to keep him from playing after a new contract was signed? What a little bitch..
