Re: Skins vs Pats - Game day thread
I just thumbed through some of the comments on here.. Who the hell did you guys think we were playing this week? 27-10 was closer than almost anyone would've expected. Some of you are delusional. I saw chunks of play that impressed me but to think that we have any right to be upset that the Redskins lost to the Patriots is a joke. Could we have won? yes.. but it would've taken everything going just right. We're headed in the right direction. We will get there. Some of you need to accept the fact that willpower and hope won't win you games against the best in the league. There were positives to take from this game. Hold your damn heads up and quit pissing about how we weren't good enough to beat a team that has dominated 30 other teams for 15 years..

That's why I was against the signing, too frail.

Seriously his stats should look like 22-27, 275 yards. 1-2 td's and. Zero ints. I am extremely happy we have a qb, and SM can concentrate on our D, and some pieces on offense. |

Re: Skins vs Pats - Game day thread
Perry Riley should never be on the field on 3rd down. Hw is atrocious is coverage. To the point where I don't blame him anymore, blame coaching for letting him be on the field.
Safe to say, MLB will be taken early in the draft.

Re: Skins vs Pats - Game day thread
I've been impressed by Kirk. His receivers let him down big time. Also the defense did a lot in the first half to keep the game within reach.

Nonetheless, I thought Kirk and Gruden were solid today. Let's go next week at home. 4-5 in our sorry division is right in the hunt. HTTR!!!

Re: Skins vs Pats - Game day thread
I can't blame McVay at all, because I don't think we really know what he's capable of. All McVay does is gameplan and set up plays BEFORE the game.
When it's game time, Gruden does all the playcalling, and I assume all of the offensive adjustments at halftime. McVay, I would assume, has a say but he isn't calling the shots.
