damn you're objective. portis isn't a system back, he put up 1300 yards last season. those aren't pedestrian numbers. Portis has earned his money imo. He has a second gear, and he's a threat to take it to the house anytime he has a ball. That's something I'm not sure Ladell Betts could do, although Betts has been performing great as a compliment to Portis. I take it you don't watch a lot of football, cuz i've seen this year and last year time and time again where it looked like Portis was gonna be stopped, then he speeds up and breaks a gain of five, maybe ten yards.
