The entire offensive unit for this team should personally apologize to every single fan at that stadium for the shit job they've done tonight.

Who cares about the playoffs anymore. We can't beat Dallas at home. We will just get embarrassed at home by the Seahawks.

That game was just fucking sickening!

On gruden again. Game plan played right into the hands of Dallas. You have to know they wanted a slugfest. They weren't going to score much.

That was the weakest, gutless, heartless playcalling this entire game I've seen in a long time. Pathetic. Whoever thought it was okay for Gruden to be calling plays needs to be put into a burlap bag and beaten with a mallet.

Well again, McVay is calling the game and I think Gruden calls a few here and there. But it's predictable and they refuse to adjust.

When Jay Gruden kicked off his first season as head coach, he also served as in-game play-caller. But as the season progressed, he realized that his coaching duties required his attention in other areas as well, and so although he still composed the game plan, the coach tabbed offensive coordinator Sean McVay to handle the task of relaying plays to the quarterbacks. Gruden would select the play, and McVay (who also helped design the weekly game plan) would then radio the play call to the passer.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...he-game-plans/

If that's still accurate, then McVay just radios the calls in. Dude's just a figurehead. Gruden does all play selecting.

Seems like it's a combined effort according to The Post. But the buck stops with Gruden since he is the HC.

It was definitely sad. That said, our line sucked and Kirk missed open receivers throughout the game.

That too. Passing could've gone differently had they not left Lee unblocked all night.

I mean, speaking of playcalling and o-line sucking, why are we not using Darrel Young to block on some formations? I mean what is that dude doing with his life now? Just special teams?

Also, Jordan Reed should do NOTHING ELSE in practice except practice blocking. He is making the offense incredibly predictable because they can't even use him on running plays; they have to sub in extra lineman. That's how bad he is.

Re: F$ck Dallas! Game thread

Fuck this team so much. We're always going to be losers. It's destiny.

Thanks Hopkins. Missed a FG. And couldn't kick the ball for a touchback there. He's been great, but not this game.

Why can't we can cover kicks? If its not a touchback it's literally a 50% chance they will give up at least 40 yards.

The charade is over, we're still a bunch of losers.
