Maybe he connects to players better on the left coast. Things worked for him in Oregon.

It doesn't surprise me he got another shot at coaching in the NFL. He has been saying all the right things.

He did not have a lot of interaction with the players at Oregon. Most of his staff handle the player issues. I do not know if its true, but i think i read he had asperger's syndrome or something similar. This is why he doesn't relate to a lot of the players.

First post here dudes! You seem to have a good site. I've been lurking for awhile, finally took the plunge to post!

Anyway, it's going to be strange not seeing Coughlin roam the sidelines when we play the Giants this year. Will be interesting to see how they do under McAdoo. Who's left for those darn Eagles? McDaniels? Lovie Smith?

How funny would it be if Pederson after the Chiefs finish in the playoff announces he's staying in KC.

Oh the joys I get just thinking of it as a possibility. I hear Jim Zorn's available!

Thank you Oklahoma! Yeah, I still hold a grudge against those damn Iggles for the body bag game. Oh, and that monster game Vick had against us on MNF. So, I welcome those stupid birds to the land of laughing stocks! I hope the Giants and Cowturds follow suit!

We'll see if Kelly can get Kap playing like he was a few years ago. I guess that means SF won't be in the QB market.

Maybe Griffin goes to SF but he doesn't want to be a running QB.

I thought Mike Shanahan was going to take the SF job.
Wonder how his ego is going to take this loss.

I hope the Eagles don't get Kyle S.

Re: Coach Changes: Firings/Hirings

Is it a sure thing that baby Shanny won't stay OC in Cleveland? I'm sure Hue wants to bring all his people in. I could see Mike and Kyle in Philly. I might not laugh as hard. I know Mike didn't have very much luck in Washington, but I still think he's a good coach.

Shanny passed over yet again, not surprising.

Did his time here ruin him as a HC? Is that why no one will hire him?
