national harbor would be pretty terrible without major major roadwork. you'd really need to put it at exit 4+ to avoid making everyone go on the local lanes through alexandria (a true traffic nightmare), which wouldn't be on the water.
last time around danny skimped on infrastructure, and the fans have been paying for it ever since. |
