When you can get serious heat on the QB without bringing extra rushers you're already way ahead of the game. Especially when you can get pressure from the interior to prevent him from climbing the pocket.

Between all the mixed coverages on each side of the field and the different drives Cooley estimated they gave NE 30 different coverages.

He said they played a different type of coverage on a single series with mixing different styles of the same coverage.

He said they played six different versions of cover 2.

Really good listen if you have a few minutes.

They have really smart, really talented players and a killer game plan which confused a guy who doesn't get confused.
