yeah, i don't think you can prove that you're a leader worth investing big money in by staying home and crying about it. not to mention that's going to end up making him look bad when he gets on the field with a 100% cold start.

i'm sure kirk will be here and show that he's committed to being the best he can be. you're talking about a guy that hired his own qb coach, and then went to train with the other gruden in the offseason on his own dime. that doesn't sound like the kind of guy that's going to stay home when he's finally been recognized as the leader of the team.
