I understand it from both sides.surely Fitz feels like he can cash in...and with the money being tossed around..it generally seems like a legit negotiation because he is clearly the best qb in free agency right now. The draft class, none of those guys are ready to lead a team into the playoffs, most likely to a 10 loss season.

I think Fitz could easily lead the Broncos into the playoffs

I agree, Fitz is clearly the best guy out there. A middle of the pack starter last year just hit the market and Denver is still low balling. Sanchez is fucking terrible and Denver gave up a draft pick for that scrub.

they only possibly gave up a 7th round pick (it's conditional on playing time). which 7th rounder are they going to take that's going to be able to play QB for them right now? or that's even guaranteed to make the team?

even an extremely low level starter (or lackluster backup) is worth more than a conditional 7th, especially when you've got absolutely no one on the roster to fill that spot.

How , if you look at the loss's the Denver D is taking and think about how dominant they were even with keeping Von Miller I can't see it.The Broncos still owe a roster bonus to Ware who knows if they are willing to pay that..

Core of that defense is still there and they still have a top cordinator. I'm not concerned about the defense, they will be fine.
