He's not worth the money he's being paid and shaving 8mil off the cap when that money can go to better use is always better. You don't overpay people just for the sake of overpaying. You can roll over any unused salary cap.

Good morning. I didn't expect a reply so soon. Anyway, I think we need him this year so I'd bite the bullet on his contract. He's a FA next season, so the burden is short term.
