Around the NFL: Offseason edition 2.0
5th year in and they're trying to teach him fundamentals of QB play. Yeah good luck with that.
And to think there are people out there that still think it was a mistake to let him go.

I hope he does well, I'm still a fan of his but it doesn't sound promising.

Yup. At this rate he miiiiight be on track for a Todd Collins-like resurgence in his 15th season once he finally learns the difference between 3-5-7 step drops.

Such a cocky guy for a draft bust and someone who is going to be on a team that might win 3 games this year. I really thought he had changed his ways. How can he have such a big ego when he sucks??

Let the guy play, and let the play do the talking. Wish they'd leave him alone at least until the season starts... |

Re: Around the NFL: Offseason edition 2.0
You know I thought things were gonna change with the Browns with a new GM and HC....but then they sign RG3 to what I considered a large contract for him and then they did stuff like add 5 WRs in the NFL Draft. Who does that? Who draft 5 WRs in a single draft? jeez, it insane

Jimmy Harlem is the problem. He hires some guy to run his football operation that was a baseball executive. What a effing joke. I think Jackson is a real solid hire but he has no chance there and neither does Griffin.

Around the NFL: Offseason edition 2.0
Like Matty said going on year five, and it is always something. Injury, coaching change, article points out possibility of just not playing real football yet.
It is SO PAINFULLY OBVIOUS over the last few years (even taking all this stuff into consideration) that the man is just not capable of playing QB in this league. At this point he should be more than happy with even making a roster and getting paid. |

While I recognize him as a defensive innovator, I was never and will never be a Buddy Ryan fan. Regardless, RIP Mr. Ryan.
