Yeah exactly. This is the quintessential case of 'needs a change of scenery'.
If he stayed with the Redskins he never would have experienced the shock to the system that got his ass in gear. He would have remained complacent. Cutting him was the right move for us, it helped continue a culture shift. And for him it helped him, he hit rock bottom, got his mind right, and now is making the most of it. We couldn't have kept him and given him the rock bottom he needed.
